Where do we go?
Segways are not road legal in the UK. We ride around the resort on a pre planned route. The exact route will depend on which site you are visiting, the weather, the ground conditions and the ability of the group.
Is there an age limit?
There is no upper age limit! However we do ask that all riders are aware of what the session entails are physically able to cope with everything. The youngest we can take is 6 at Atlantic Reach and 7 at Hendra.
Can we ride as a family?
Our mini Segways are amazing machines and will ride with the adults. They are smaller, lighter and less powerful than the ‘adult’ Segway’s but can do pretty much everything the big ones do! You will sometimes see an instructor leading a session on one just to prove this point!
Can my children do the session?
Anyone over the age of 6 (or 7 at Hendra) can join the Segway Experience. However we do ask that anyone under the age of 16 is accompanied by an adult. Anyone under the age of 18 must have an adult on site to sign for them and for safeguarding.
I don't have a bike helmet?
We have plenty of helmets to fit all shapes and sizes!
My balance is rubbish!
Segway’s are self-balancing machines. They will stand up on their own and will stand up and balance with you on it. We provide 1-2-1 training to every rider to support you and get you going.
